WaterFire, ‘the award-winning sculpture by Barnaby Evans installed on the three rivers of downtown Providence, has been praised by Rhode Island residents and international visitors alike as a powerful work of art and a moving symbol of Providence’s renaissance’. A unique and very popular tradition here in Providence, with music and vendors, great for the whole family! They light the fires starting at Memorial Park, and work their way down the river into the center of Waterplace Park. Begins at sunset, and the fires stay lit until midnight. Tonight is Noche de Fuego: A Celebration of Latin Culture at WaterFire.

Burnside Park will play host to an outdoor beer garden where you can hang out with friends, and listen to bands and DJs from all over New England, before you head out to dinner and an outdoor movie! We get so excited for this day of BARGAIN HUNTING every fall. All of our favorite shops in the neighborhood put deeply discounted sale merchandise outside for us to discover. And its a great time looking through the clothing, accessories, gifts, home decore, stationary, handmade goods, books, and more! I’m going early to make sure I get my hands on the best finds! Take a stroll down Westminster St. and win!
So far here are the deals that I’ve heard about:
