
There will be a special basin lighting to celebrate the evening and the kick-off of WaterFire’s 15th Anniversary season. Lighting is at 8:30 p.m. and the fires will remain lit until 11:00 p.m.
Strike the Match will be held at Waterplace Restaurant, in downtown Providence from 6-10 p.m. Fundraiser attendees will have a balcony view of the evening’s basin fire and exclusive access to VIP boat rides, raffle prizes, and a special unveiling of new WaterFire merchandise celebrating the 15th Anniversary Season.

The final show of Perishable’s musical 2009-2010 season is a boisterous, exuberant story of failed and redeemed love. Hedwig and The Angry Inch is a story of a boy in East Berlin, who fell hopelessly in love with an American G.I. and underwent a sex-change operation in order to marry him and flee to the West.
