Monday Night Dinner Steals for Two at Bravo

        bravofrontweb

I don’t think I’m the only one who feels withdrawals from the weekend on Mondays. That’s why I love Bravo’s Monday Night Dinner Special for Two. I can extend the fun of going out on the weekend to Monday night and not feel bad about it, since two people can eat Bravo’s great food and have a bottle of wine for only $29. With several delicious entrée choices like Roast Pork Loin, Atlantic Cod, and Asparagus Ravioli, also coming with a Caesar or Bravo salad, I think it’s a steal. And a bottle of Tunnel of Elms Chardonnay, Merlot, or Cabernet to compliment? Perfect. Bring a date, or just a friend, and head to Bravo to wash away the Monday blues.

The Museum of Westminster Street Hits Downcity This Weekend – March 5th & 6th

window_web600

On March 5th and 6th, The Museum of Westminster Street is turning Westminster Street into 3-dimensional museum exhibit, and they are encouraging all of us to participate and become part of the exhibit. They will place museum labels, generated from a combination of historical research and more than 150 interviews, on street furniture, buildings, inside stores, on the sidewalk, and even on people.

They are trying to break down the barriers of what a museum is by bringing the museum experience to the street, to the people. Co-organizer Andrew Losowsky says ” ..We are encouraging a greater understanding about what and who is around us. So the next time someone walks down here, they’ll say ‘oh yeah, that’s the place this guy works, or that building use to be.’ By sharing the information is an unusual way, we hope people will feel closer to the city and what’s in it”. Stop by Downcity this weekend to walk through the Museum of Westminster Street.

Friday, March 5th: 12-2pm
Saturday, March 6th: 12-4pm

Visit www.themuseumonline.com for more information.
